Shuttle:

 

Due to limited parking at the start of the race Camp Read will be running a shuttle to the start from the Horicon Community Center.

 

Please drop your own boat off at the start and return to the community center for a shuttle back to the start. If you have supporters or family members attending the race, we encourage you to have them drop you off at the start after you register.

 

We will have 30 minutes between the end of registration and the start of the race. Arrive early.

Prizes:

 

Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place paddlers in each category.  There are no set items or cash prizes in this race.

Will There be a safety boat?

​

There will be a safety boat sponsored  on the water the day of the event. However, the safety boat is there for emergencies only. This is a self supported race. You are responsible for getting your boat and yourself to the finish.

What If my boat does not fit into the registration class guidelines?

 

If you plan on paddling vessel that does not fit in with a predetermined class  feel free to contact the race director at northwarrencanoe@gmail.com or call 585.507.5090. The vessels will start in the Rec class.
